“Liam Gallagher Backs Hoarse Harry Kane After England Victory”

Liam Gallagher shows solidarity with Harry Kane as the football star loses his voice celebrating England’s victory. Kane, 32, scored the crucial penalty leading to a 3-2 triumph over Mexico, securing England’s place in the quarter-finals against Norway.

Following the game, Kane struggled to speak during a BBC interview, attributing his hoarse voice to singing Oasis’ hit “Wonderwall,” a song Liam Gallagher, the band’s former member, enjoyed in 1995.

Reacting to Kane’s voice troubles, Gallagher humorously commented on Instagram, highlighting the challenge of singing like Kane and rallying support for England.

In response to a fan’s suggestion that he should perform “Wonderwall” live on the pitch if England reaches the final, Gallagher hinted at the possibility. The fan’s tweet sparked excitement among supporters of the band.

Kane, still recovering his voice post-game, expressed his emotions, emphasizing the team’s resilience and the challenging match against Mexico. Despite the odds, England managed to secure the victory.

In a thrilling match, England took the lead with Jude Bellingham’s goal, followed by a second goal from Bellingham after a strategic play initiated by Anthony Gordon and a cross from Harry Kane.

Mexico narrowed the gap with a goal from Julian Quinones just before half-time, increasing the pressure on England. However, goalkeeper Jordan Pickford’s performance was crucial in maintaining England’s lead.

The game took a dramatic turn in the second half when Jarrel Quansah received a red card after a VAR review. Despite being down to ten men, England extended their lead when Kane converted a penalty, sealing the 3-1 victory.

England’s win sets up a quarter-final clash with Norway, who secured a 2-1 victory over Brazil in their round of 16 match. The upcoming game is scheduled for Saturday, 11 July at 10 pm.

If England advances past Norway, they will face one of Switzerland, Colombia, Argentina, or Egypt in the semi-finals on Wednesday, 15 July at 8 pm. The potential opponents for the semi-final match add to the anticipation surrounding England’s journey in the tournament.
