Liz Truss criticized her own party, accusing it of being “ideologically captured” by “DEI” and labeling business individuals who shied away from politics as “cowards.”
These remarks were made during a passionate speech at CPAC GB, a British offshoot of the prominent American pro-Trump conference that Truss is hosting in London. She expressed frustration over the frequent turnover of British Prime Ministers, highlighting the instability caused by having seven Prime Ministers in the past decade.
Truss pointed out that five of these Prime Ministers were from the Conservative Party, with her own tenure being the shortest. When questioned about the Conservative Party’s representation as a true conservative entity, she asserted that the party had been influenced by “DEI” at its central office.
While advocating for the establishment of “parallel institutions” and “parallel media” to counter what she perceived as a left-wing bias in the civil service, Truss called on successful individuals from fields like finance and bitcoin to enter politics and take charge of key institutions such as the immigration department and foreign office.
She emphasized the need for a more developed right-wing movement with a pool of capable individuals willing to step up for the country’s future. Truss criticized those who opted out of politics, urging them to show courage and contribute to shaping the nation’s direction.
Looking ahead, Truss hinted at revealing specific names in the future and acknowledged the risks associated with political involvement. Despite facing low attendance at CPAC GB, she remains steadfast in her beliefs and actions.
Additionally, Truss expressed concerns over the COVID-19 restrictions and the potential financial challenges and social stagnation facing Britain. She predicted a change in leadership before 2029 and emphasized the importance of proactive engagement in addressing national issues.
