Love Island alum Montana Brown recently encountered a swarm of insects infesting her home, causing her distress. The 29-year-old mother of two shared a video showcasing the unidentified bugs crawling on her kitchen wall and jokingly offered a £2 million reward for identifying the pests.
Brown, expressing her frustration, mentioned resorting to pest control to eradicate the unwelcome visitors. She pleaded for help in determining the insects, emphasizing her efforts to clean the cupboards to no avail, stating, “Can someone tell me what these pests are? I have cleaned all my cupboards and they will not go away! It’s making me sick.”
Her followers speculated on the insects’ identity, with suggestions ranging from book lice to dust mites and flour mites. Recommendations poured in, including cleaning with hot soapy water and calling exterminators to prevent a rapid infestation.
In a subsequent video, Brown humorously mentioned cleaning her cupboards multiple times and covering dried goods with cling film, promising the £2 million reward to anyone correctly guessing the insects. She confirmed scheduling a visit from pest control due to the diverse and unfamiliar insect suggestions received.
The reality TV personality, who rose to fame on Love Island in 2017, welcomed her second child in January. Sharing a photo on Instagram with her newborn daughter and fiancé Mark O’Connor, Brown celebrated expanding her family after becoming a mother to their son Jude in 2023.
