Molly-Mae Hague has confessed to feeling “traumatized” when Tommy Fury returned to the boxing ring shortly after the birth of their first child, sparking concerns from her family as they anticipate the arrival of their second baby.
The 26-year-old influencer, currently pregnant with her second child with the 26-year-old boxer, expressed the distressing experience of witnessing Tommy’s fight against YouTube star Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia while their newborn, Bambi, was just a few weeks old in 2023, which deeply affected her.
The couple, who found love on the reality show Love Island, is gearing up to embrace parenthood once again. However, Tommy is slated for a fight on June 13, the day after Molly’s due date. Molly shared that she was 24 weeks and 6 days pregnant during her scan on February 26 in an Instagram Story, indicating a due date of June 12.
Reports suggest that Molly’s family is displeased with Tommy’s decision to return to the ring, this time against Strongman star Eddie Hall in Manchester, so close to the birth of their second child.
According to a source speaking to the Mail, there is dissatisfaction over Tommy’s absence during the crucial newborn phase, leaving Molly to handle things solo. The financial filings for Tommy Fury TNT Limited reveal a significant increase in assets from £361,767 in 2023 to an impressive £9.49 million the following year after the Jake Paul fight.
Post-fight, Tommy reportedly earned a staggering £16,429 per day through his boxing career and endorsements, leading to a substantial rise in the company’s capital and reserves from £137,362 to over £6.1 million during the same period.
Despite the financial success, Molly admitted feeling “traumatized” by the situation, recounting the initial weeks of caring for Bambi alone, which she described as daunting. She highlighted the struggles faced during that time and the relief of Tommy’s return home, considering it almost as joyous as the day Bambi was born.
