Members of a drug gang, known for their luxurious lifestyles and love for spa trips, have been imprisoned for selling cocaine on the streets. The gang, consisting of ten individuals, received a total of over 52 years in prison. Images captured them enjoying spa outings and flaunting stacks of cash seized by police.
Leading the operation was Paddy Nolan, 29, who sourced cocaine from outside Lancashire and distributed it through his network. Detectives found evidence of Nolan’s wealth and cash flow from the drug operation. One of his key associates, Ross Boys, 29, supplied cocaine to dealers in East Lancashire.
Another significant figure, Darren Mott, 47, served as the gang’s cash courier, shuttling money between Manchester and Lancashire. During a police operation, £100,000 in cash was discovered in Mott’s possession. Nolan, Boys, and Mott were arrested in December 2024, with more gang members apprehended in subsequent months.
The gang confessed to conspiring to sell cocaine and were sentenced at Burnley Crown Court. Chief Insp Sarah Denson commended the East Targeted Crime Unit for dismantling the gang. Nolan received an 11-year, eight-month sentence, Boys got seven years and six months, and Mott was imprisoned for six years and nine months. Others involved in the drug ring received various sentences.
Chief Insp Denson emphasized the commitment to combating drug-related harm in communities and holding offenders accountable. She expressed gratitude to the law enforcement unit responsible for bringing the gang to justice.
Individual sentences included Matthew Waterworth, 34, with five years, Regan Burnie, 34, with four years and 11 months, Aaron Cormack, 31, with three years and nine months, Luke Barritt, 37, with three years and eight months, Leon Canning, 27, and Jacob Dewhurst, 29, both receiving three years and two months, and Jamie Howes, 29, with three years and one month in prison.
