Home Alone actor Macaulay Culkin recently shared a heartfelt sentiment about his relationship with actress Brenda Song. The couple, parents to Dakota, five, and Carson, three, celebrated a significant nine-year milestone.
In honor of their anniversary, Culkin took to Instagram to express his feelings, stating, “Today is a very special day for me.” Reflecting on the past nine years, he remarked, “It’s incredible to realize that one out of every five days, I’ve had the privilege of waking up beside the love of my life.”
Despite the joyous occasion, Culkin admitted his one regret, confessing, “My only regret is that we haven’t had more time together. Thank you for everything.” The pair first crossed paths in 2013 through Disney Channel and later kindled a romantic relationship after appearing together in Seth Green’s indie film Changeland.
Accompanying his post, Culkin shared a photo of the couple clad in matching pale pink attire, prompting an outpouring of affectionate messages from his followers. One commenter playfully noted, “Who would’ve guessed Kevin McCallister and London Tipton would make the perfect pair.”
Song also commemorated the occasion by posting a polaroid snapshot of them sharing a kiss, captioned with, “Happy 9-year anniversary @culkamania! My life turned vibrant when you entered it. I am endlessly grateful for the life we share and can’t imagine navigating it without you. I love you more each day, and you’re stuck with me.”
In a separate revelation last year, Culkin disclosed that his children, despite watching the Home Alone series, are unaware of his role as Kevin in the iconic films. The initial Home Alone movie premiered in 1990, and Culkin enjoys watching it with his sons, Dakota and Carson, emphasizing their obliviousness to his part in the films.
