Hyperoptic, an internet provider, has announced a £4 monthly price increase for customers starting from April 2026, up from the previous rise of £3 per month. This adjustment will impact both new and existing customers across all Hyperoptic broadband plans. Previously, Hyperoptic had expressed opposition to annual price hikes but has joined other major telecom companies in implementing larger increases in recent times.
In 2023, policy director James Fredrikson stated that Hyperoptic did not engage in mid-contract price rises, emphasizing transparency in pricing throughout the contract duration.
Sky Mobile has revealed a £1.50 monthly bill increase for the majority of its customers effective from February 14, 2026, marking the first price change for in-contract customers in over seven years. Customers with data plans ranging from 4GB to 100GB will face a £1.90 rise, while those with over 100GB will experience a £2.30 monthly increase.
Additionally, Three broadband subscribers will see a £3.50 monthly surge from April 2026. Vodafone mobile customers signing up from November 12 can expect a £2.50 or £1.50 increase per month for regular and Basics SIM plans, respectively. Vodafone broadband users will encounter a £3.50 monthly price hike.
For customers already under contract with Vodafone or Three, the price increase will apply as per the agreed terms. However, individuals without a contract may be overpaying for their mobile and broadband services. To save money, consider comparing prices online, assessing your actual usage needs, and exploring the possibility of switching providers or negotiating better deals with your current provider.
