A male suspect has been taken into custody on suspicion of homicide following the tragic demise of a woman in Merseyside. The North West Ambulance Service notified the authorities around 2:55 am today (May 24) after discovering the lifeless body of a woman in her thirties at a residence in Brook Cottage Close, St Helens.
Law enforcement apprehended a 63-year-old man at the location under suspicion of murder. He is now in custody for interrogation as investigations are in progress to ascertain the complete details of the incident and formally identify the deceased woman. Pending these inquiries, the case is being treated as unforeseen.
