A tragic incident unfolded outside an apartment building when a man fell from a flat window and was later pronounced dead.
Emergency responders rushed to the flat situated on Keal Avenue, in close proximity to Great Western Road in Glasgow, around noon today following reports of the man’s fall from the building, according to Daily Record.
Upon their arrival, the man was pronounced deceased at the location.
Video footage from the scene captured the presence of numerous police vehicles, vans, and medical personnel, while a significant cordon was established around the vicinity. Police officers were observed positioned behind the cordoned-off area.
Authorities from Police Scotland have commenced an investigation and have categorized the incident as unexplained.
Law enforcement officials have affirmed that inquiries are currently ongoing, with a comprehensive report set to be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.
A representative from the police force stated: “A report was received concerning an individual falling from a property window near Great Western Road in Glasgow shortly before 12pm on Sunday, 1 March, 2026. Emergency services promptly responded, and unfortunately, the individual was pronounced deceased at the scene.
“The circumstances surrounding the death remain unexplained, and investigative efforts are continuing. A detailed report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
