In a tragic incident, a mother of three from Britain was fatally stabbed in front of her children, leaving her in a pool of blood.
Victoria Hart, aged 33, was assaulted at her residence in Alhaurín el Grande, near Malaga, Spain, on Saturday morning. The alarm was raised by neighbors around 11.40 am after hearing cries for help from the British mother’s house. Upon entering the property, a local discovered Victoria lying on the floor surrounded by blood with a kitchen knife beside her.
Following her horrifying death, heartfelt tributes have poured in for the “perfect” mother.
Reportedly, Victoria’s three children, an 11-year-old boy and twin 7-year-old girls, fled the home seeking assistance.
Despite swift arrival of emergency services, Victoria was tragically pronounced dead. The suspect, identified as Juan A. R., who is believed to be the victim’s former partner, surrendered to authorities and was subsequently apprehended. Allegedly, he confessed to the officers, stating, “Arrest me, I have done something very bad.”
Authorities disclosed that Victoria had been registered on Spain’s VioGen system, a tool used to evaluate the risk to potential victims of gender-based violence.
Condolences and remembrances flooded social media platforms like Facebook, with one individual expressing, “RIP Victoria Hart. This news is devastating. We must unite against domestic violence and challenge those who shield such perpetrators. My thoughts are with the family during this difficult period.”
Another acquaintance lamented, “I am devastated. This tragedy should have never occurred. Those poor children. Deepest sympathies to Sue Hart and the entire family. Victoria will be greatly missed.”
A third individual wrote, “There are no words in this world to describe a beautiful person, a wonderful mother, an amazing friend. Victoria Hart, you will be missed. My heart aches, and the reality is hard to accept. Rest in peace, my angel. Your absence will be deeply felt.” They added, “There are very few people as remarkable as Victoria Hart.”
Neighbors shared that the victim and her partner had been experiencing difficulties and were in the process of separating, as reported by Sur.
It was mentioned that Victoria had gone out with friends on Friday night, but the suspect allegedly bombarded her with messages.
A spokesperson for the Civil Guard in Malaga stated, “The Civil Guard is conducting an investigation into the death of a woman in Alhaurin el Grande. Her ex-partner has been arrested as the suspected perpetrator.”
The Town Council of Alhaurin el Grande declared Monday as an official day of mourning, expressing, “The town council wishes to extend our deepest condolences and support to the victim’s family and friends, while strongly denouncing and condemning this act of gender-based violence, a societal scourge that gravely violates human rights and necessitates eradication through collective societal efforts.”
