The US Justice Department has made public more documents from the Epstein Files, but reports indicate that 37 pages are still missing. One of the latest files released on Friday alleges that Donald Trump sexually assaulted a woman, introduced to him by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, when she was a minor.
According to an FBI interview, the woman claimed that the US President hit her after she bit him, pulled her hair, and punched her on the side of her head. Despite the release of these new 16 pages containing shocking claims, an investigation revealed that 37 pages are still undisclosed.
In January, over three million files related to Epstein were published by the US Justice Department, revealing emails, images, and videos that shocked the world. However, an independent investigation by National Public Radio found that 53 pages were missing in the initial document drop, and with the recent release, 37 pages are still unaccounted for.
These missing pages are said to contain interview notes, license records, and law enforcement reports related to Epstein and his illegal activities. Notably, survivors who have come forward have not accused Mr. Trump of any crimes, and being mentioned in the Epstein Files does not imply guilt.
The Justice Department initially withheld today’s released documents, citing a misclassification as duplicates. Many pages in the Epstein Files have redacted sections, sometimes to protect victim identities, but often with significant portions blocked out entirely.
Among the latest file releases was an FBI interview with an alleged victim accusing Donald Trump of abuse. The White House press secretary dismissed the allegations as baseless, citing lack of credible evidence and previous knowledge by the Department of Justice without any action taken. The press secretary reiterated that President Trump has been cleared of any wrongdoing through the Epstein Files release.
