Nicole Kidman experienced a health scare on the set of the new Apple TV series, “Margo’s Got Money Troubles,” prompting her co-star to share the details of the incident.
Nick Offerman, aged 55, portrays the character Jinx, a former wrestler, in the comedy-drama series, which boasts a star-studded lineup including Michelle Pfeffer and Nicole Kidman, who plays Lace, a former wrestler turned lawyer.
In a recent episode, Jinx and Lace reunite to take Jinx’s daughter Margo (played by Elle Fanning) to a fan convention. However, Nick Offerman disclosed that Nicole had to be taken to the hospital shortly after filming the scene due to illness.
During an interview with People, Nick described the challenging morning when news arrived that Nicole was unwell with the flu. Despite initial concerns about her availability, Nicole made a heroic effort to show up on set and fulfill her filming obligations, even though she was visibly unwell and had to be hospitalized for an IV immediately after completing her scenes.
“Margo’s Got Money Troubles” has garnered significant attention since its release on April 15, with viewers praising its authentic portrayal and strong ratings. Based on Rufi Thorpe’s novel, the show presents a compelling narrative about a young mother navigating financial instability in a high-profile adaptation.
