A film documenting Oasis’ 2025 reunion tour is set to premiere in theaters this September. Directed by Steven Knight, creator of Peaky Blinders, the untitled documentary will also be available on Disney+.
The Oasis Live 25 tour marked Noel and Liam Gallagher’s reconciliation after nearly two decades apart. Starting with shows in Cardiff, the tour continued in Manchester, London, Dublin, and across North and South America.
Noel, 57, left the band in 2009 due to conflicts with Liam but the siblings put aside their differences for the highly anticipated 2024 tour announcement. The documentary captures the emotional journey of the Gallagher brothers’ reunion and the impact on fans worldwide.
Scheduled for a limited theatrical release on September 11, the film aims to encapsulate the essence of the band and their global fan base. Director Steven Knight emphasized the film’s focus on unity through music and storytelling.
In addition to Noel and Liam, the band featured original members Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell, and new drummer Joey Waronker. Disney+ will stream the film following its cinematic run.
Eric Schrier, President of Direct-to-Consumer International Originals, praised the film for portraying reconciliation, music’s power, and Oasis’ influence. While UK fans hope for more tour dates, nothing has been confirmed yet.
