Olivia Wilde has addressed the rumors surrounding her alleged dispute with Florence Pugh. Reports suggested tensions arose during the filming of the 2022 movie “Don’t Worry Darling,” directed by Wilde, in which Pugh starred alongside Harry Styles.

It was alleged that Pugh was frustrated by Wilde’s involvement with Styles, as Wilde was going through a separation from her partner Jason Sudeikis when filming commenced in 2020.

Despite reports of a heated argument between them, Olivia, 42, has refuted claims of any on-set feud. She clarified that there was no shouting match during production, emphasizing her commitment and availability on set.

In an interview with The Cut, Wilde expressed her dismay at being instructed to remain silent and put on a facade, indicating that it was not her preferred approach to handling situations.

Amid the turmoil, Olivia sought advice from Jennifer Garner, who likened public perception to being cast in a soap opera, with predefined roles and narratives assigned to individuals.

The alleged discord between Wilde and Pugh reportedly escalated when Wilde referred to Pugh as “Miss Flo” and suggested she needed a wake-up call during a rehearsal.

Sources close to the production mentioned instances where Olivia and Harry would disappear, hinting at possible tensions arising from their relationship dynamics during filming.

Despite the controversies, Olivia publicly commended Florence’s work during a press conference at the Venice Film Festival, acknowledging her dedication despite scheduling conflicts that prevented her from attending the event.
