Katie Price has responded to a request from PETA to refrain from owning pets, with the organization offering her £5000 to commit to never bringing another animal into her home.

PETA raised concerns after several of Katie’s pets, including two dogs, a horse, and a chameleon, passed away while under her care, leading them to label her a ‘serial animal killer.’

The animal rights group proposed a financial incentive for Katie to sign a legal agreement pledging not to acquire any more pets.

The issue resurfaced when Katie disclosed that her Sphynx cats went missing while she was in Dubai visiting her incarcerated husband, Lee Andrews. She later mentioned on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, that the cats returned after she posted about their disappearance on Instagram.

Addressing criticism about her handling of animals, Katie defended herself by stating that her pets are well cared for and regularly taken to the vet for treatments like worming. She also mentioned the offer from PETA to pay her £5000 to abstain from owning animals.

Regarding her new kittens, Katie shared that she plans to find them new homes when they reach eight to ten weeks old, ensuring their well-being by following veterinary advice.

Currently, Katie looks after 17 animals, including seven sphynx cats, five dogs, and several horses. Tragic incidents involving her pets include a horse’s death in 2017 due to an escaped gate, and multiple dogs being hit by cars in different years.

Recently, Dina Taji, the ex-wife of Katie’s husband Lee, expressed reluctance to send a new dog to the UK, citing concerns about the recipient. Dina sought advice from her followers on the matter, emphasizing her newfound awareness of undisclosed information.
