Peter Andre recently shared his perspective on children leaving home, noting it as a unique experience. The singer, aged 53, has children Princess, 18, and Junior, 20, with ex-wife Katie Price, along with Millie, 12, Theo, nine, and Belle, 22 months, with his current wife, Emily.
Reflecting on actress Joanna Page’s concerns about her children growing up, Peter empathized with her worries but also expressed excitement about the future with his own family. In his column for new! magazine, Peter mentioned his admiration for Joanna Page, recalling their time together on “Cooking with the Stars.”
He shared, “I hope that one of our children will have kids someday, and we can experience it all over again as grandparents! It’s bittersweet watching them grow up, but I enjoy witnessing their journey. Emily is also apprehensive about this, especially with Junior moving in with his girlfriend, although Princess still enjoys being at home and catered to.”
Meanwhile, Peter was delighted to learn about Hilary Duff’s comeback world tour after rising to fame with the Disney Channel series “Lizzie McGuire.” He noted how Hilary’s children appreciate her career resurgence, drawing parallels to his own situation where his kids have started to appreciate his music career as well.
Peter humorously shared, “It was amusing to discover that Millie had my hit song ‘Flava’ from 1996 on her playlist. While Theo prefers Michael Jackson, I’m thrilled to hear him play my new song ‘Rock U Right’ occasionally. Who knows, maybe I could revisit my glory days and bring back ‘Mysterious Girl’ with a toned physique!”
