Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been accused by a woman of touching a 17-year-old’s chest during a gathering at Jeffrey Epstein’s residence. Caroline Kaufman, now 32 years old, described the event as feeling like a “meat market” at the New York mansion of the deceased sex offender. According to Kaufman, all the girls were instructed to wear matching black dresses to impress Andrew.
The alleged incident, deemed “creepy” by Kaufman, reportedly occurred when Andrew visited in December 2010. Kaufman claimed to have observed Andrew in a compromising position with a young woman during the same visit. Andrew has consistently denied any misconduct related to his association with Epstein.
In a 2019 Newsnight interview, Andrew asserted that he traveled to New York that year to sever ties with Epstein following the latter’s conviction for child sex offenses in 2008. Kaufman, who has previously accused Epstein of assaulting her, has urged Andrew to testify in court.
Kaufman recounted feeling uncomfortable at the mansion, stating that Andrew seemed to exhibit a sense of entitlement and regality. She further emphasized that Andrew should be scrutinized for his connections to Epstein, alleging that he was well aware of the circumstances at the residence.
Describing the event as a supposed photoshoot opportunity, Kaufman claimed that it turned out to be a dark-themed party that left her distressed. She detailed a coercive environment where attendees were instructed on how to interact with Andrew. Kaufman also alleged that Andrew’s hand brushed against her chest as he engaged with her, only to retract upon learning her age.
Expressing surprise at Andrew’s behavior, Kaufman revealed that she was later subjected to abuse by Epstein after spending a brief period at the gathering. Legal representatives for Kaufman have indicated their intention to formally serve Andrew with legal documents, emphasizing the importance of hearing all accounts related to the events.
