Prince William has faced a restriction after settling into his permanent residence with Kate and their children. The 43-year-old Prince was banned from using his electric scooter to cruise around the grounds of their new home, Forest Lodge. Known for his fondness for two-wheeled scooters, William was frequently seen riding his e-scooter on the expansive 4,800-acre estate at their previous residence, Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor Castle Estate. However, due to strict regulations, he will no longer be able to zip around the property at their new abode.

Forest Lodge is located within the vast 4,800-acre Windsor Great Park, which prohibits motorized transportation on its premises. The park’s regulations clearly state that only cyclists, residents, and estate workers are allowed on the roads, with all other forms of motorized transport, including e-scooters, hoverboards, and one-wheels, strictly prohibited.

According to a source cited by The Sun, William is willing to comply with the ban on e-scooters in Windsor Great Park. The Prince, who was captured by a tourist riding his e-scooter on the gravel at Windsor two years ago, notably used his electric scooter to meet actor Eugene Levy at the castle.

During Levy’s visit, captured in his docuseries The Reluctant Traveller, William explained that the e-scooter was his preferred mode of transportation around the area. Despite encountering a puncture that caused a delay in their meeting, William shared that he and his family do not reside in the castle itself but frequently utilize it for work, meetings, and social engagements.
