Putin’s Children Raised by Western Nannies

Published on

Vladimir Putin has been reported to have engaged British nannies in caring for his children, despite his criticism of individuals adopting Western lifestyles as “traitors.” Leaked documents have disclosed substantial expenditures on private tutors for two boys believed to be his offspring with Olympic gymnast Alina Kabaeva, spanning from 2017 to early 2026.

Amidst escalating anti-NATO rhetoric, Putin has continued to allocate funds towards caregivers from perceived “enemy” nations to cultivate a Western-influenced environment for his children, Vladimir Jr (approximately seven years old) and Ivan (11 years old). Investigative findings by Radio Svoboda reveal that the boys are undergoing personalized home-schooling focusing on European languages like English and German.

These children are under the tutelage of about 20 foreign private tutors, sourced from countries including Britain, Germany, and Austria, leading a secluded existence. They reside in an opulent estate reportedly owned by Putin, safeguarded by an anti-missile defense system, eschewing traditional schooling and social interactions with peers. This situation contrasts with Putin’s previous condemnation of individuals embracing Western European culture following the Ukraine conflict.

Notably, as the 73-year-old president exhibits an increased aversion to germs, stringent disinfection procedures are enforced on the children’s belongings, with meticulous monitoring of their dietary intake and daily routines. Personnel and educators residing on-site receive a generous monthly stipend of $8,000 (£6,000), with strict guidelines on permissible subject matters, including an absolute prohibition on LGBT-related discussions and sex education. Additionally, the children are restricted to portraying male characters during role-playing activities.

Despite the financial incentives, some insiders have disclosed a discontented atmosphere within the household, equating their experience to being “robots executing instructions in total seclusion from the outside world.” For instance, an English teacher identified as “Harry A” requested a two-month unpaid leave in 2023 due to burnout from prolonged quarantine conditions.

Furthermore, a British-Irish tutor named Jane M, aged 58, faced restrictions on visiting public venues during her leisure time. The Kremlin has never officially acknowledged Putin’s alleged connection with Alina Kabaeva, the 2004 Olympic champion, or the existence of their purported children.
