Vladimir Putin’s chief propagandist has stirred controversy by advocating for strikes on England during a dramatic live broadcast.
During his show “Sunday Evening With Vladimir Solovyov,” TV host and Putin loyalist Vladimir Solovyov urged for bold actions and the use of new weaponry, sparking a heated debate on how to effectively target the UK.
Solovyov criticized EU countries for denouncing Iran while hesitating to support the US in Middle East conflicts, claiming that NATO posed no threat to Russia in the absence of American involvement.
State Duma deputy Leonid Kalashnikov suggested that Russia should consider launching proxy strikes on England, drawing parallels to Iran’s use of Houthi militias in Yemen. He proposed utilizing existing proxies like Iran to carry out attacks on behalf of Russia, emphasizing the need to avoid direct confrontation.
In response, Solovyov insisted on direct strikes against the UK, challenging Kalashnikov’s reluctance to engage in war and advocating for a Communist approach of openly confronting perceived enemies.
Solovyov’s recent criticisms of the war in Iran as “absolute evil” and his warnings of a potential nuclear conflict have heightened tensions. He expressed concerns about the escalating situation, emphasizing the risk of nuclear weapons being deployed and highlighting the potential catastrophic consequences of a full-scale conflict involving multiple nations exchanging nuclear strikes.
The presenter cautioned that the current geopolitical landscape indicated a protracted struggle, with Iran resiliently retaliating against perceived adversaries despite US claims of victory. The escalating hostilities have fueled fears of an imminent nuclear conflict with far-reaching implications for global security.
