RCMP is currently probing the deaths of two individuals discovered in a rural residence in western New Brunswick. According to a news release issued on Friday, RCMP were called to a residence on Knowlesville Road in Knowlesville, Carleton County, at around 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday following reports of two sudden deaths. Upon reaching the location, authorities found the lifeless bodies of a 68-year-old man and a 74-year-old man, both residents of Knowlesville, inside the residence. The news release assured that the two deceased individuals were acquainted with each other, and there is no danger to public safety.

The deaths are being treated as suspicious, and the RCMP major crime unit is aiding in the investigation. Autopsies have been arranged to determine the precise causes of death, as stated by the RCMP. The news release refrained from disclosing the identities of the deceased, with an RCMP representative indicating that no additional information could be shared at the moment. Knowlesville is located approximately 25 kilometers east of Florenceville-Bristol. RCMP has urged anyone with information relevant to the case to come forward and assist in the investigation.
