His wealth is estimated at £4.435 billion by The Sunday Times.

In a recent interview with The Times, Moritz expressed pity for Elon Musk, stating that many who associate with Trump understand his true nature as a buffoon but engage with him due to perceived necessity. Moritz highlighted Trump’s focus on real issues such as trade competition with China, border immigration concerns, and inadequate defense contributions from Europe.

Moritz, who achieved success with Sequoia Capital, a venture capital firm, resides in San Francisco with his spouse. Meanwhile, Trump made headlines by asserting his interest in acquiring Greenland, citing concerns about potential Russian or Chinese intervention on the island.

During discussions with oil companies about Venezuelan resources, Trump hinted at acquiring Greenland by any means necessary, emphasizing the strategic importance of not allowing Russia or China to control the territory. He mentioned the possibility of making a deal with Greenlanders but avoided discussing financial details at that time.

Trump declared his intention to take action regarding Greenland, with or without local approval, to prevent geopolitical threats from Russia or China. He reiterated his determination to secure Greenland, emphasizing that action would be taken regardless of the territory’s position on the matter.
