Rochelle Humes proudly refers to herself as a ‘nepo mum’ after sharing that her 13-year-old daughter, Alai-Mai, is gaining work experience as a content creator. The 37-year-old, who is married to Marvin Humes and has two other children, mentioned that Alai-Mai is not keen on following in her parents’ footsteps in music or TV presenting.

Instead, Alai-Mai aspires to be a social media influencer in the future, despite not having a social media account currently due to restrictions for under 16s. Following the trend of celebrity offspring pursuing influencer careers, Rochelle supports her daughter’s interest in this field.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Rochelle revealed that Alai-Mai will be shadowing her for a week of work experience. Although Alai-Mai admires Rochelle’s personal content creator, Shannon, who is currently on holiday, and expressed interest in taking on Shannon’s role.

Reflecting on her own journey, Rochelle rose to fame at the age of 12 as part of the pop group S Club Juniors in 2001. Despite her initial self-assessment as not excelling in singing or dancing, she later found success with The Saturdays before transitioning into a TV presenting career alongside her husband Marvin.

Apart from her TV roles, Rochelle is also the founder of the children’s skincare brand My Little Coco. Despite her accomplishments, she acknowledged that people have underestimated her in the past, citing her lack of formal education due to her early entry into the entertainment industry.
