Ruth Langsford recently shared her thoughts on the possibility of finding love again following her 14-year marriage to Eamonn Holmes coming to an end. The news of their split in 2024 took fans by surprise.

While Eamonn, 66, has moved on to a new relationship with Katie Alexander, Ruth, 65, is focusing on embracing her single status and concentrating on self-growth and career advancement.

In a candid conversation with womanandhome magazine, Ruth expressed her acceptance of the end of her marriage, sharing that she is not opposed to the idea of starting a new relationship or even considering marriage again. However, she emphasized that she is not actively seeking a new partner as she has discovered her strength and independence during this period.

Ruth, who has been undergoing therapy post-divorce, acknowledged her newfound independence and resilience. She is enthusiastic about the future and the opportunities it holds, despite initially feeling apprehensive about the unknown.

The television personality, known for her role on “Loose Women,” hinted at a potential return to “This Morning” and expressed interest in co-hosting with Rylan Clark. She mentioned her positive working relationship with Rylan and the possibility of reuniting on-screen.

During a recent discussion on Loose Women, Ruth made a lighthearted comment about the potential benefits of being single, referencing a conversation about longevity. This playful exchange indicated her positive outlook on life post-divorce.

In a separate event, Eamonn extended well wishes to Ruth over the Christmas period, expressing his admiration and support for her. Despite their ongoing divorce proceedings, he conveyed his best wishes to Ruth during a Christmas dinner event.

Eamonn also shared his plans to spend Christmas with Katie, highlighting their festive getaway to North Yorkshire. Despite facing mobility challenges following a surgery in 2022, Eamonn remains optimistic about his health and is hopeful for a breakthrough stem cell treatment in the coming year to improve his mobility.

Looking ahead, Eamonn expressed his aspirations for regaining mobility and independence, emphasizing his determination and positive outlook for the future.
