Sam Asghari Shows Support for Britney After DUI Arrest

Published on

Britney Spears’ former spouse has commented on her recent arrest, acknowledging that everyone is prone to errors. The 44-year-old singer was taken into custody by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Driving Under the Influence on March 5. She was processed and detained from evening until the early hours of the next morning before being released.

Sources suggest that during the booking process, Britney, known for hits like “Toxic,” was visibly emotional. However, her ex-husband, Sam Asghari, has come forward, emphasizing the inevitability of mistakes in life.

In a recent interview, Sam, who separated from Britney in August 2023, discussed his former partner’s challenges, highlighting what he perceived as her oppression. Drawing parallels to situations in Iran, he expressed concerns about the exploitation Britney faced and the limitations on her freedom.

Speaking on a show hosted by Piers Morgan, Sam praised Britney’s strength and resilience, despite the difficulties she has encountered. He stressed the importance of privacy for her and urged the media to respect her boundaries. Sam affirmed his unwavering support for Britney’s recovery and well-being, believing she has the strength to bounce back from this setback.

Following Britney’s arrest, her manager condemned the incident as inexcusable and assured that Britney would cooperate with legal requirements. Plans are in place for her children and loved ones to offer support and structure to guide her toward a positive outcome during this challenging period.

While Britney has not addressed the incident publicly, she has deactivated her Instagram account, where she often shared dance videos. It remains to be seen how she will navigate this situation moving forward.
