Samsung is set to unveil its latest portable projector, the Freestyle+, at the CES tech show in Las Vegas. This compact device is an upgraded version of the original Freestyle projector, boasting enhanced AI features, brighter visuals, and an expanded range of entertainment options.

The standout feature of the Freestyle+ is its user-friendly interface. With Samsung’s AI OptiScreen technology, users can simply power on the device and let it automatically adjust the image to suit the viewing environment. This means no more manual tweaking of settings when projecting onto different surfaces.

AI OptiScreen also introduces innovative features like 3D Auto Keystone, which corrects image distortion on various surfaces, and Real-time Focus, ensuring a sharp picture even when the projector is moved. Additionally, Screen Fit adjusts image size to match compatible projector screens, while Wall Calibration enhances image quality by analyzing the projection surface.

These intelligent tools aim to streamline the setup process for users, eliminating common projector-related frustrations. Like its predecessor, the Freestyle+, designed for easy portability, comes with a built-in speaker, Wi-Fi connectivity, and access to popular streaming apps such as Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video.

Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business, emphasized the company’s commitment to creating adaptable displays that cater to users’ lifestyles. The Freestyle+ aligns with this vision by offering a seamless viewing experience wherever users go, with optimized content and viewing environments.

While pricing details are yet to be confirmed, the Freestyle+ is expected to hit stores early in 2026, offering a blend of portability, intelligent features, and high-quality viewing experiences.
