When asked about his actions, Bridger humbly stated that he believed he should be the one to sacrifice if necessary. The siblings were at a friend’s residence when the dog suddenly launched its assault, as confirmed by their aunt, Nicole Walker. Bridger recounted that he and his sister were playing with two dogs in the garden, one being friendly and the other aggressive. When the aggressive dog lunged at his sister, Bridger courageously positioned himself between them. Despite being bitten on the cheek, he instructed his sister to flee to safety while he diverted the dog’s attention.
