Sky has unveiled upcoming changes to its TV channel lineup, set to take effect imminently. Among the alterations, Sky Showcase and Sky Max will be discontinued as of February 24. However, to compensate for these closures, a well-loved channel is being reintroduced.
The reemergence of Sky One is scheduled for tomorrow, offering a plethora of comedic and entertaining programs for subscribers. Viewers can look forward to new series such as The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby, alongside returning favorites like Rob & Romesh Vs.., The Paper, and Ted.
Moreover, Sky One will host the anticipated Saturday Night Live UK later this year. Carli Kerr, MD of Sky TV & NOW, expressed enthusiasm for the channel’s relaunch, emphasizing its unique lineup featuring both new and beloved content.
In addition to the channel launch, Sky will roll out a new plan named Ultimate TV for £24 per month. This package includes access to Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the soon-to-be-launched HBO Max app. Subscribers will also enjoy over 130 premium channels like Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, and Sky Crime.
Furthermore, Sky Cinema users will receive a dedicated Disney movie channel integrated into the TV guide, enhancing their viewing experience. The comprehensive £24 plan encompasses various streaming services and an extensive channel selection, catering to diverse entertainment preferences.
