Sky TV customers are in for a change starting April 30 as the company revamps its Cinema channel lineup. The existing Sky Cinema Animation channel on channel 312 has been merged into Sky Cinema Family on channel 304. This move aims to consolidate family-friendly films into one convenient location, providing viewers with a streamlined viewing experience.
Despite the channel merger, all content previously available on Sky Cinema Animation will still be accessible through Sky Cinema Family. Popular titles like Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, Smurfs, How to Train Your Dragon, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and Wicked will now be featured on the unified channel.
For fans of Sky Cinema Animation, there is good news. The channel will make temporary comebacks during school holidays, running from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5. This ensures that children will have access to their favorite content during these periods of extended break.
