This news follows Smith’s previous disclosure that Whimsy underwent chemotherapy following her diagnosis last year. In an Instagram video, Smith expressed, “We waited until her treatment was complete and we knew the outcome before sharing our journey and finding the right words to do so.
“With Whimsy now in remission, I felt ready to share our story. My intention in sharing our experience was to shed light on the struggles many families face privately during such challenges.
Reflecting on the financial and emotional toll of chemotherapy, Smith highlighted the high costs of medical care and its impact on families.
Smith, 24, and her husband Lucky Blue Smith, 28, are now focusing on readjusting to their daily lives, taking each day as it comes. She mentioned, “We are uncertain if life will ever feel normal again, but we are navigating this new chapter to the best of our abilities.”
Expressing gratitude for the outpouring of support, Smith extended her thoughts to families currently facing similar battles.
The influencer, who shares four children with Lucky Blue Smith and welcomed their youngest, Fawnie Golden, in October last year, mentioned their plans to contribute to charitable organizations and foundations.
