Oti Mabuse recently opened up about the challenges she faced during her second pregnancy, affecting her interactions with her daughter. The former Strictly Come Dancing star surprised her fans with the news of expecting her second child.
During an interview on the Table Manners podcast with Jessie and Lennie Ware, Oti shared that certain activities she used to enjoy with her two-year-old daughter had to be altered due to her pregnancy. She mentioned that her daughter understood the situation and had adapted to the changes, such as refraining from jumping on her belly.
Describing her current pregnancy as “tough,” Oti expressed feeling exhausted and overwhelmed, likening the early stages to a marathon due to fatigue and nausea. She had initially kept her pregnancy a secret but later revealed the news on Instagram, stating that they were expanding their family.
Appearing on Loose Women, Oti disclosed that she was four months pregnant and had struggled with morning sickness, affecting her TV appearances. Despite the challenges, she found ways to cope, like drinking peppermint and ginger tea to alleviate nausea.
Expecting her second child with Marius Iepure, whom she married in 2014, Oti also shared details about her first date with him, which involved dancing instead of a traditional dinner. Additionally, she teased the upcoming release of her romance book, Slow Burn, centered around a passionate dancer’s journey.
