Rose Ayling-Ellis, a beloved contestant on Strictly Come Dancing, recently shared insights into her dating life while discussing personal challenges. The 31-year-old gained fame from her role in the BBC soap EastEnders before joining Strictly in 2021.

Making history as the first deaf participant on the show, Rose partnered with professional dancer Giovanni Pernice and triumphed by winning the Glitterball Trophy over competitors John Waite and Johannes Radebe. Their remarkable silent dance routine earned them a prestigious BAFTA award.

Despite her on-screen successes in ITV’s Code of Silence, Rose revealed the difficulties she faces in her dating life due to her deafness. Consequently, she is crafting a comedy show based on her experiences dating as a deaf individual in London. Rose humorously acknowledged that failed dates provide great material for her show.

Having recently ended a seven-year relationship with Samuel Arnold in 2022, the strain of the Strictly Come Dancing Live! tour was cited as a contributing factor. Rose remains unbothered by the idea of settling down, emphasizing her independence, career, and freedom from compromising with “gross men.”
