Steve Wright, known as the ‘Suffolk Strangler,’ made a confession to murder under pressure from his older brother, Dave Wright, who urged him to consider the victims’ families. Dave revealed that after years of denial, Steve finally admitted to his involvement in the killing of a sixth victim, Victoria Hall, a young girl.

The confrontation with his brother, who was already serving a life sentence for the murders of five women, pushed Steve to change his plea at the last moment before trial, citing the need to alleviate the suffering of the victims’ loved ones.
