Police have apprehended a suspect using tasers following a reported knife attack targeting Jewish individuals in a London neighborhood. The incident, as described by volunteer Jewish security group Shomrim London, involved a man armed with a knife attempting to stab members of the Jewish community.
The attack occurred on Golder’s Green road, where Shomrim reported that law enforcement intervened, employing a taser to subdue the assailant. A witness recounted that one victim was stabbed near a synagogue before the perpetrator fled towards another location where a second victim was assaulted.
Upon police arrival, the suspect was subdued with a taser. Emergency services provided treatment on-site, with at least one victim requiring helicopter transport for further medical care. The Community Security Trust, a Jewish security organization, confirmed the incident and called for cooperation with authorities.
Shomrim, a volunteer civilian patrol group, swiftly responded to the attack, detaining the suspect before police intervention. Images from the scene captured the apprehension of the perpetrator by law enforcement officers.
Reports indicated that two individuals were injured in the assault, with ongoing collaboration between law enforcement, Shomrim, and the Community Security Trust.
