A teenager who fatally stabbed a 14-year-old in Manchester and later bragged about it in a rap video has been sentenced to a youth equivalent of life in prison. Ibrahima Seck was chased down and stabbed in the heart by three boys, leading to his death in the hospital. The incident was captured in a rap video where the killer boasted about the attack.

During the trial in December, all three boys involved in the murder were convicted. The main perpetrator, Boy A, was found guilty of murder, while Boy B and Boy C were found guilty of manslaughter for their roles in assisting and encouraging the stabbing.

In court, Boy A was sentenced to at least 11 years and ten months of detention, while Boy B received a sentence of two years and ten months and Boy C two years and four months. Boy B and Boy C will serve two-thirds of their sentences in detention.

The fatal incident occurred on June 8, 2025, when Ibrahima was fatally stabbed in New Moston, north Manchester. According to the prosecutor, the altercation started when Boy B handed a knife to Boy A, who then fatally wounded Ibrahima with the assistance of the others.

Ibrahima’s family described him as a beloved and caring individual, expressing their devastation over his untimely death and seeking justice for him. The tragic event unfolded when Ibrahima, on his way to play football, encountered the group of boys who eventually led to his demise.
