A group of individuals allegedly sexually assaulted a teenage girl in the restroom of a KFC establishment. The incident took place in the Les Halles district of Paris late at night. The victim, a 13-year-old girl, was found in distress by a passerby who then reported the situation to the authorities.

Following the alert, law enforcement officers arrived at the scene and apprehended four men, aged between 18 and 24, who were identified by the victim. The suspects had reportedly coerced the girl away from her companion and into the restaurant’s restroom within the Forum des Halles shopping center.

Authorities from the Paris prosecutor’s office were notified of the assault by concerned citizens in the vicinity. The victim disclosed the ordeal to the police, leading to the swift apprehension of the alleged perpetrators.

The four individuals were taken into custody on suspicion of committing a sexual offense against a minor under 15. They are currently under investigation by the Juvenile Protection Unit, as reported by French media sources.

The teenage girl had been socializing with friends near a McDonald’s in Chatelet before being separated from her group. She agreed to accompany the men to KFC while waiting for her friend but was then subjected to the assault.

After the traumatic incident, the victim was promptly taken to a hospital where she received medical attention and psychological support. The Forum des Halles shopping center, known for its high footfall, has seen a surge in criminal activities according to reports.

In response to the incident, increased security measures have been implemented at the shopping center, with numerous security personnel stationed across different levels of the building to enhance safety.
