A 17-year-old teenager from Cardiff had to undergo leg amputation after being stabbed on Bank Holiday Monday at Barry Island. The incident, which initially didn’t seem life-threatening, resulted in a serious leg injury for the victim. The teenager is now receiving critical care at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.

Following the incident, an 18-year-old man from Riverside, Cardiff, was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and is currently on bail as the investigation proceeds.
