Radiohead has had to reschedule their initial two Copenhagen concerts scheduled for tonight and tomorrow, December 2, due to Thom Yorke falling ill, causing disruption to their tour plans.
The affected shows have been postponed to December 15 and 16, with hopes that Yorke will have recovered by then. A representative mentioned that Yorke has been diagnosed with a severe throat infection and is presently undergoing treatment to ensure the band can perform at the remaining Copenhagen shows on December 4 and 5, as well as the upcoming Berlin shows later this month.
In a statement released today, the band expressed their disappointment at having to postpone the two shows on such short notice, attributing it to Thom’s inability to sing due to the throat infection. They are optimistic about Thom’s recovery in time for the final Copenhagen shows on December 4 and 5, as well as the four Berlin shows starting on December 8.
Tickets for the affected shows will automatically be valid for the rescheduled dates. However, individuals seeking refunds should reach out to their point of purchase.
Radiohead had previously announced a series of live shows in the UK and Europe at the end of 2025, their first in over seven years. The tour commenced in Madrid on November 4 and will include stops in Bologna, Copenhagen, Berlin, and London.
Earlier in November, the band concluded a successful four-night stint at The O2 in London on November 21, 22, 24, and 25.
