Three individuals who tragically lost their lives in a devastating three-car collision have been identified. The deceased are Conor Quinn, aged 31, hailing from Coalisland in County Tyrone; John Guy, aged 48, originally from Dublin but residing in Keady, Co Armagh; and Laura Hoy-Henry, aged 23, from Cookstown. The fatal incident occurred near Moy.

The crash involved three vehicles—a red BMW, a grey Volkswagen, and a white Audi—at approximately 10:20 pm on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of the trio who were all passengers in the red BMW. Additionally, four other individuals sustained injuries in the collision.

Authorities mentioned that two occupants of the grey Volkswagen Amarok required medical attention for their injuries, while the driver of the white Audi Q3 only suffered minor injuries. Police are actively investigating the incident and urge any witnesses, individuals with dash-cam footage, or those with relevant information to contact them.

Assistant Chief Constable Davy Beck stated that despite the best efforts of emergency services, the three individuals succumbed to their injuries. He appealed for cooperation from the public, especially anyone with information related to the crash.

Local political figures, including Sinn Fein MLA Colm Gildernew and UUP MLA Diana Armstrong, expressed shock and sorrow over the tragic event. Gildernew conveyed heartfelt sympathies to the families and friends of the deceased, emphasizing the community’s support during these difficult times. Armstrong described the incident as a “very dark day” and extended condolences to the affected families while acknowledging the efforts of the emergency services.

The community is deeply saddened by the loss of life in this tragic accident, and many are keeping the impacted individuals in their thoughts and prayers. Appreciation was also expressed towards the PSNI and emergency services for their prompt response and assistance at the scene.
