Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague have shared that their newly born son has been named Midas. The professional boxer and his partner made the announcement about their second child earlier this week but had kept the name a secret. Molly-Mae had hinted that Tommy would reveal the name on his fighting shorts during his match against Eddie Hall in Manchester.
Tommy fulfilled this promise by prominently displaying “Midas” on his fighting attire. He had hinted earlier in the week that everything would be revealed on Saturday night and expressed his excitement about it. He mentioned that he had received more questions about the name than about the actual fight, emphasizing that it had been a tremendous week for him and described it as a significant blessing.
The couple, who initially met on the reality show Love Island, introduced their first daughter, Bambi, in January 2023. Molly-Mae announced her second pregnancy in February. The pair later shared the happy news of their son’s arrival through a joint Instagram post, showing the family of four in a heartwarming black-and-white photo.
The social media post quickly amassed over 1.5 million likes within two hours, with numerous well-wishers leaving congratulatory messages. Former Love Island contestant Maura Higgins was among those extending their best wishes, expressing her joy for the couple.
Tommy and Molly-Mae first connected in 2019 on Love Island, where they finished as runners-up. Despite a breakup in August 2024, they reconciled and confirmed their reunion in May of the following year. Molly-Mae, who has amassed a substantial following on Instagram since her television appearance, also launched her own clothing brand, Maebe, in 2024.
Molly-Mae made her first public appearance since giving birth when she attended Tommy’s fight against Hall at The AO Arena on Saturday night.
