A mother, Charity Beallis, and her six-year-old twins were tragically found deceased at their residence in Bonanza, Arkansas. Charity, embroiled in a contentious divorce with her ex-husband, Dr. Randall Beallis, had been striving for full custody of their children. The distressing discovery occurred shortly after a court hearing regarding the custody battle.
Following the devastating incident, several belongings of the family, including framed photos, children’s artwork, and a gold necklace inscribed with the twins’ names, were discarded near the crime scene. Dr. Randall Beallis, previously arrested for domestic violence against Charity, had been prohibited from contacting her or her family without court authorization.
Despite the family’s wishes for a joint burial, the ex-husband gained custody of the twins’ remains. Charity’s body was entrusted to her eldest son, John Powell, who laid her to rest on December 29. Expressing his dismay, John described the situation as “sickening” and lamented the lack of information regarding the twins’ burial or cremation.
Charity had confided in her son about feeling fearful during the custody battle and voiced concerns about being marginalized when seeking assistance. She highlighted the challenges faced by victims in the justice system, emphasizing the need for protection and support.
Dr. Randall Beallis, through his attorney, expressed sorrow over the deaths and maintained his innocence, cooperating with the investigation. The authorities are actively investigating the tragic deaths, with no official accusations against Randall at this time.
