A young girl tragically drowned at a popular reservoir while playing on a raft, according to police reports. The incident occurred at Fleming Meadows Lagoon in Don Pedro Reservoir, and the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office was alerted on Saturday, July 18, around 3:30 pm local time.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found bystanders attempting to perform CPR on the three-year-old, identified as Lailah Rosillo. Despite their efforts, she could not be revived. The authorities confirmed her death at the location before she could be transported for further medical attention.
The Sheriff’s Office is seeking public assistance in gathering more details about the drowning incident. They are specifically looking for photos or videos showing the child on a raft with other children and witnesses who saw her before the accident.
