The US President is swiftly transitioning to his next agenda following his assertion of achieving the “demise of Iran.” Donald Trump has stated that Tehran no longer poses a threat to the US, marking the end of his calls for support from NATO and the UK during the conflict sparked by US-Israeli actions on February 28.
In a recent announcement, the President labeled the Democrats as “the greatest enemy in America.” Additionally, he warned that ICE agents could be stationed at US airports as early as Monday, March 23.
Using his Truth Social platform, Trump remarked, “With the demise of Iran, the Radical Left, Highly Incompetent Democrat Party now stands as the greatest enemy America faces.”
In a separate post, he criticized the Democrats for their actions towards the Department of Homeland Security, TSA Officers, and the American people, deeming it a disgrace. Trump emphasized the need for enhanced security measures, stating that ICE would handle the task more effectively than before.
The President’s statement on the “death of Iran” follows his threat to “obliterate” Iranian power plants if the Strait of Hormuz is not fully reopened within 48 hours, a critical passage for global trade.
Amid rising oil prices worldwide, Trump faces pressure to address the Strait issue. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf warned that any US attack on Iran’s power plants would result in retaliatory strikes on energy infrastructure and oil facilities in the region, leading to prolonged high oil prices.
The developments underscore the escalating tensions between the US and Iran, with both sides engaging in aggressive rhetoric and brinkmanship.
