Donald Trump recently shared that his latest medical examination yielded “perfect” results. The US president, who is approaching his 80th birthday, visited Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland for his routine check-up. This marked his third visit to the medical facility within a year.
Throughout the past year, there has been public scrutiny over minor health concerns involving Trump, including issues like swollen ankles, bruised hands, and a neck rash. White House physician Sean Barbabella previously mentioned that Trump was using a common cream for preventive skin care to address the rash on his neck, without elaborating on the specific condition.
Following the publication of photos showing the president’s leg and hand conditions, Barbabella reassured the public that these ailments were not serious and ruled out deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease. The White House Press Secretary attributed Trump’s leg swelling to a common vein condition and explained that the hand bruising was a result of frequent handshaking.
In response to queries about undergoing a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan, Trump revealed that it was part of a standard second physical exam. Although MRIs are not typically included in routine check-ups, Trump mentioned that his results were exceptional, according to his doctor’s assessment.
After the second examination, Barbabella reported that Trump’s cardiovascular vitality, as determined by his cardiac age based on ECG readings, was notably younger than his actual age by approximately 14 years. This positive evaluation reflects Trump’s overall health status.
