Donald Trump has disclosed that he has reviewed government UFO documents and finds them intriguing. The US President made the revelation during a Turning Point USA event in Phoenix, Arizona, stating that the Pentagon would soon release files detailing UFOs and other unexplained aerial phenomena (UAPs).
During his visit to Arizona to rally support for Republicans ahead of the Midterms elections, Trump addressed the crowd, expressing his excitement about the ongoing process of releasing the documents. He mentioned discovering many interesting documents and announced that the initial releases would be available very soon for the public to scrutinize and draw their conclusions.
This development follows a request made by the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform’s Task Force to US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth in March for video files related to Unidentified Aerial Phenomena by April 14. Concerns were raised by House representatives about the lack of disclosure regarding the potential threat posed by UAPs in US restricted airspace, especially around military installations.
In a previous statement, Trump had indicated his intention to direct the release of UFO footage by Hegseth and other relevant departments. Hegseth confirmed that his department had been actively reviewing the files. Meanwhile, former President Barack Obama had hinted at the existence of aliens, prompting a response from Trump criticizing Obama’s comments on the matter.
