The Met Office has indicated that certain regions in the UK could experience snowfall on Friday. This week’s weather forecast includes periods of rain and drizzle on Tuesday, followed by heavy rain in the south and a mix of sunshine and showers. According to the Met Office, Wednesday onwards will continue to be unsettled with more rain expected. By Friday, the weather is predicted to turn colder and brighter.

The drop in temperature may lead to snowfall in some areas, with the Met Office mentioning a possibility of snow showers, particularly in the north and east regions. BBC Weather forecasts a cloudy start with some rain tomorrow, transitioning to brighter spells and showers in the afternoon before turning wet in the evening. The rest of the week may see cloudy and wet conditions with occasional light rain.

Yellow weather warnings for rain have been issued for parts of northern and eastern Scotland this week, with the risk of flooding due to up to 60mm of rainfall expected. Additional warnings for heavy rain and potential snow accumulation above 300m have been issued for Wednesday in regions like Aberdeenshire, Angus, and Perthshire.

Looking ahead, the Met Office anticipates continued unsettled weather with rain and possible strong winds from February 14 to 23. While milder conditions are expected for many areas due to westerly influences, colder conditions may affect northern and northeastern parts intermittently during this period.
