In a UK town, a court trial has revealed disturbing details of two teenage boys who allegedly raped a terrified girl while laughing and filming the assault. The case, taking place at Southampton Crown Court, involves three boys accused of involvement in the rape of two girls in separate incidents in Fordingbridge, Hampshire. The defendants, now 15 years old, face multiple rape charges against the victims in incidents that occurred in November 2024 and January 2025.
During the trial, it was disclosed that the first defendant, along with the second defendant, is accused of perpetrating four counts of rape against the complainant in the first incident. The first defendant also faces two additional counts of rape, while the second defendant faces four counts of rape against the second victim in the January incident. A third boy, who was 13 at the time and is now 14, is charged with two counts of rape for aiding and abetting the second defendant. Furthermore, the first defendant is also accused of taking indecent photos of the girl during the January incident.
According to the prosecution led by Jodie Mittel KC, the girl involved in the November incident, aged 15 at the time, initially connected with the first defendant through Snapchat. Following their interaction, the girl met the first defendant in person, where he bought her a drink and they engaged in conversation at a park. Subsequently, they moved to an underpass where the girl consented to perform sexual acts on the boy. However, the situation escalated when the second defendant and another boy arrived, pressuring the girl and recording the assault while laughing, causing her distress.
The girl, feeling overwhelmed and coerced, agreed to engage in acts she found repulsive due to the intimidating presence of the boys. The prosecution revealed that the girl described her emotions as ‘petrified’ and felt compelled to comply out of fear. The assault continued in the underpass, where the girl expressed feeling trapped and helpless as the two defendants raped her while the second defendant filmed the ordeal.
The traumatic incident lasted approximately 90 minutes, during which the girl endured emotional and physical distress, feeling sick and on the verge of passing out. Following the assault, videos of the incident were circulated, and the victim faced derogatory remarks and harassment. The prosecution emphasized that the boys exhibited a lack of concern for the girl’s well-being, using her for their own gratification.
In another incident in January, involving a 14-year-old victim, the prosecution stated that the first defendant allegedly threatened her with a knife, coercing her to leave her phone with a tracking device before leading her to a recreation ground where she was assaulted by the two defendants. Despite claims of a knife threat, CCTV footage did not capture such evidence. The trial is ongoing, with the defendants denying the charges.
