The latest weather maps from WXCharts reveal that London and its surrounding areas are likely to see a peak temperature of 16C by next Wednesday.

In contrast, those seeking winter sun in Ibiza will be greeted with slightly lower temperatures of 15C. The weather is expected to warm up across the south, southeast, and East of England, with temperatures reaching double digits by the evening.

Early morning temperatures are forecasted to range from 0C in Scotland to 8C in Bristol but are anticipated to rise significantly by midday, with London reaching 15C, Norwich 13C, Birmingham 11C, and Glasgow 10C. The evening is expected to be mild, with temperatures hitting 16C in London, 14C in Birmingham, 13C in Swansea, and 14C in Plymouth.

The warm trend is set to continue, with temperatures reaching 18C in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire by Saturday evening. Across England and parts of Wales, temperatures are expected to range from 14C to 17C. If the current forecasts hold, temperatures in England could reach 15-17C the following day. This comes after the UK experienced its hottest day of the year so far recently.

Kew Gardens in southwest London recorded a temperature of 18.7C, the highest in the country for the month of February since 2019. The Met Office reported that this was the warmest February day since a high of 19.2C was recorded at Heathrow on February 27, 2019. Prior to that, the highest February temperature in the UK was 21.2C at Kew Gardens on February 26 of the same year.
