A significant logistics center belonging to Wildberries, often dubbed as “Russia’s Amazon,” was obliterated today in a major drone strike carried out by Ukraine. The attack targeted Ryazan, located 115 miles southeast of Moscow, causing extensive damage to a key oil refinery that had already been severely affected by previous assaults.

Furthermore, drones struck the strategically important port of Taganrog on the Sea of Azov in southern Russia, resulting in casualties, including a woman’s death. Reports also indicated large fires in Kerch near the Crimean side of the crucial bridge linking the Black Sea peninsula to Russia.

The assault by Ukraine on Wildberries logistics facilities escalated following a meeting between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky in the US, where they discussed the urgent need for enhanced air defense protection. The Wildberries warehouse, ranked as the fifth largest in Russia, was engulfed in thick black smoke, prompting an evacuation from the distribution center.

In recent weeks, Ukraine has targeted a total of 11 Wildberries logistics sites, leading to severe destruction and billions of pounds in damages, with the most recent strike causing injuries to six individuals. Allegations from Ukraine suggest that the retail giant supplies the Russian military, prompting Wildberries to urgently seek alternative warehouse locations in neighboring Kazakhstan to sustain its operations amid the ongoing conflict.

Amid mounting opposition within Russia, claims have emerged regarding President Putin’s efforts to bolster military recruitment to address significant losses on the battlefield. Additionally, President Zelensky asserts that there is internal discord among Putin’s close advisors regarding the continuation or cessation of the conflict.
