A 26-year-old woman, Eleanor Brown, who was imprisoned for sharing nude photos of her father’s lover on a sex-for-sale platform, has declined to express remorse for her actions. Despite being released early from prison, Eleanor defiantly proclaimed in a social media video that she is unapologetic and will never be sorry for what she did.
Eleanor’s father, a former police officer, was caught having an affair with his mistress when Eleanor was just 14 years old. After waiting 12 years, Eleanor sought revenge on behalf of her mother, who had sent explicit images of the woman to her daughter.
Eleanor targeted the woman’s husband, who had launched a business, by posting derogatory remarks on his Facebook page and creating a provocative profile on a sex-for-sale website, offering sexual services for a nominal fee. Despite using a pseudonym like “Ex-police with all my uniform which I like to wear for my clients” and referencing “kinky copper,” Eleanor was apprehended and sentenced to three years in jail in October 2024.
During the sentencing at Leeds Crown Court, the judge criticized Eleanor for her lack of regret, labeling her actions as “vindictive, selfish, and vengeful.” Even after her early release, Eleanor remains unrepentant, stating that the only thing she would change is disposing of her phone to avoid the trouble it caused her.
In a video posted on TikTok, Eleanor reiterated her lack of remorse, asserting that she would not repeat her actions although she has now moved on with a job, a house, a partner, good friends, and supportive family members.
While Eleanor’s mother and sister were implicated in the case, neither of them faced charges. Sophie Brown, Eleanor’s sister and a police officer, was found guilty of gross misconduct for allegedly encouraging her sister’s behavior. The misconduct panel determined that she would have been dismissed if she had not already resigned. In a victim statement presented in court, the woman expressed feeling “violated” by the entire ordeal.
